Prayer 3/3/02 Mt 26:

I thought it was going to be a nice winter
Things happen, life gets crummy
That is usually when we think to pray
That is also when we wished we were better at it

Prayer is not like making a christmas list
Prayer is not like begging

Prayer is not about getting what we want
Kent Chappelow….like him because he buys you lunch
Like him because of the character that emanates from him
Not my will, but thine be done

Prayer = soul communication with God

What does prayer do?
Many views on this/many scriptures to share
What is the tone of scripture
Prayer is the place where we are changed, where we find solace
