A long time ago in a galaxy far far away.....seminary
first heard of the power of words in a spiritual sense

name it claim it
there is power in what we say
nice kids, nice wife, not as big of a dufus as I remember
strange prayers for mom
raise the dead prayer
I've participated too.....my family has taken a beating this week
never so glad to be a United Methodist

Card in the mail
phone calls from you
hugs
failures & lack of experience make us nervous about trying to say something nice
what if I'm rejected? what if they are left out
If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all
a good word at the right time
this heart....this mouth....gifts from God
Let that good word come forth, and be a blessing
