Today I would like tot talk with you about the sacrifice of Jesus Christ
Sacrifice
The cow, the chicken want to make breakfast for the farmer. This invite the pig to participate...milk, eggs, sausage...the pig tells the chicken, "For you, it's a contribution. For me, it's the supreme sacrifice."
We don't know a lot about sacrifice...we tend to avoid it...we prefer convenience
Examples of Sacrifices
this past wekk we celebrated Memorial Day and that we honor those who dies to help preserve our right to honor our God.

ways we still try to "make it right
just like in the ot, we humans of today, trying in our own strength must offer one sacrifice after another
one human effort after another
- we give our time, coach a team
- we give money, we give blood
- we insist that we do not need him
- we ignore our separation from God
with Jesus he was the once and for all time sacrifice....

It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to forgive sins
it is impossible for us to effect our own forgiveness
only when we decide to depend on Jesus Christ
