Regrets
I didn’t take girls to nsync
Cathy regrets…she did
Other regrets….push someone in lake at party, they lose glasses
Words spoken in anger
Relationship that isn’t what you wish it was

Some regrets are based on actions
Words usually come before actions
Most regrets are based on words

How we talk at home
Remember that these people are human beings

Things we should never say
• Youre fat, I hate you,
• Ill do whatever I want & theres nothing you can do about it
• We should never have gotten married/had you
• Youre worthless
• You were a mistake

Times we should never talk
• When you are hot and tired
• When you have been wounded
• Particularly frustrated
• When you feel particularly self righteous

Sometimes its not what we say but how we say it
Learn to stop and think about how you are coming across
Mom-if you could only hear how you sound to others

Learn to say I am sorry
Doesn’t heal it all, but goes a long way

You are ministers to them

Lead to song…who will be jesus to them
