Children are a Blessing Exodus 2:1-6 11-18-01

Sermon 11-18-01 Exodus 2:1-6
When alli was 2, Jenny was 1
3 in diapers,…..whatever this kid is, we are done.
We love children, they are a blessing, a gift

Moses in the river
Sister watches him
Children are valuable
You never know what they will become
All children are valuable

We are thankful for our children
It is our job to father, parent, raise, guide them
In order to save them, we must let them go [not in a basket]
They belong to God

They belong to all of us ...All over the world…Missions children
Easter baskets 175 – back to school 80 – fishing derby 20
Peacemaking academy 7 – this Christmas - 200
Total for 2002 582 - plus 242 bags of diapers for Rachel house
They belong to all of us…right here at home

We pause to give thanks, for our children
For one another [brothers & sisters in Christ]
For our church family
